Trend Micro CPITS India Graduation Day

After Trend Micro launched their premier Certification Programme in IT Security (CPITS) in India in 2018, the first batch of students recently completed their course. For this purpose, they decided to host an exclusive graduation event for the students and their families with the core objective of creating a sense of pride and achievement amongst the recent graduates.
The first step on our journey was curating the event flow. Deciding to use a shorter format, the event was segmented into three main parts – Arrivals and registration, the main conference and to close, dinner and dance.
The stage design was creatively crafted in line with the effect of the programme where we used the word ‘Congratulations’ in multiple local and international languages to represent the opportunities available to the students as they completed their graduation.
At the main event, professors and senior personnel from Trend Micro’s Malaysia Head Office were also present to share a few parting words and insights into how the course will shape their future. The conference focused on aspirations and capabilities in a more casual environment as it later transformed into a more celebratory atmosphere.
At the end of the conference, the 25 students who had graduated were felicitated on stage by leaders of CPITS and Trend Micro alike. Customized backgrounds and unique awards were used to recognize a few students who had created an impact within the group as well. The event concluded with a live DJ set-up that allowed the students and professors to party and enjoy the occasion.
The client was happy that everyone enjoyed themselves at the event and commended us on our event management skills and smooth execution. While this was the first instance of CPITS Graduation Day in India, we look forward to creating bigger and grander events in the coming years.
