Driving the first flagship event in India for a leading technology company
Redis Labs was one of the main sponsors of AWS Summit 2019 where we met the client for the first time. After witnessing the grand summit experience, Redis Labs was impressed with the scale, quality and execution capabilities we showcased during the event.
After an initial meeting with Redis Labs, we understood their requirements and set to work on creating a remarkable customer journey for their first flagship event in India – Redis Day. After a thorough recce of the area, we planned each attendee touchpoint to drive interest and engagement. We also conducted an extensive pre-event programme to connect and inform Redis users about the event and invite them to participate in Redis Day 2020.
Redis Day showcased the entire Redis platform to developers, architects, engineers and business professionals and provided a stage to discuss the impact of the latest features, best practices, and the future of Redis.
Travel and transfers details for executive forum candidates were communicated well in advance to facilitate participation. In the pre-function area, attendees were engaged in special photo op that they could post on social media. As the main event garnered significant registrations and participations, we opted to have an open air lunch with food tents. We also created a defined product showcase section for the Redis team to demonstrate use-cases and benefits of individual softwares. The main stage was designed keeping in mind the best viewing angles of attendees throughout the ballroom. There were three separate screens interspersed with backdrops of traditional monuments to cement Redis’ presence in India.
The two day event witnessed a number of prominent C-level speakers and industry experts including the creator and co-founder of Redis Labs who started the entire company. The first day was designated for training and development which gave attendees an overall idea about the uses and benefits of Redis to a new user with different sessions throughout the day delving into the intricacies of various services. The day also included a special Hackathon event which pitted more than 120 seasoned Redis users against each other in a competition.
The second day was dedicated to solving real business benefits along with the best methods to incorporate Redis into an enterprise. The Hackathon finals were also conducted on this day for executives to witness the capabilities of the best Redis developers and users. Throughout the two days, over 700 people participated in the event from diverse industries. The Redis team were pleased with the overall production and technical that created a seamless attendee experience that helped build the Redis brand name in India.
