For the 8th year in row, Gartner, Inc. chose NeoNiche Integrated Solutions as their preferred partner for their landmark event – Gartner Symposium | IT Xpo which was executed across 3 days from 11th to 14th November in Goa. This year, Gartner wanted to elevate the event to the absolute next level in terms of attendee experience, key takeaways and overall grandeur.
With the objective clearly set, we got into action early on; conceptualizing the entire event experience nearly 6 months before the event to ensure adequate space planning, creative use of branding elements and differentiated zones that would ensure an easy and effective attendee journey. A total of 4 mega pavilions were built across the 5 Star sea side resort; Grand Hyatt. Each pavilion had a specific purpose; from silver spoon dining to post-conference networking and more.
The three-day exclusive event was designed for CIOs and top IT executives looking to gain an industry edge through research driven insights. Gartner Symposium comprised of over 350 informative sessions via 7 breakout tracks. The blend of industry experts and top Gartner analysts ensured that delegates received accurate and relevant information.
Using the size of the venue to our advantage, we strategically crafted the various zones for different purposes. We decided to place the sponsorship zone right next to the main keynote hall, fully aware that attendees stepping out would engage with sponsors, thus giving them maximum visibility, footfalls, business leads and engagement. There were also mini theatre set ups for premier sponsors to hold more intimate sessions specific to their products via Bluetooth headsets to avoid any distractions. A total of 47 sponsors participated in the event.
We designed a large format keynote that broke down into three different breakout tracks after keynote sessions. The entire agenda was curated in a manner which would ensure that delegates get maximum exposure to various streams as per preference. Different designs for stages were conceptualized for smaller session areas which helped keep attention focused on the speaker and the content.
A special Gartner Zone was dedicated for premier offerings while the Executive Program Member Lounge was yet another elite area designed as a networking place for high-level executives of enterprises with unique content, further encouraging information exchange and interaction. We used a nature-oriented photo backdrop which gained a lot of traction over the course of the event. The penultimate evening was capped off with a renowned local band belting out the latest hits followed by a DJ ensuring that delegates partied the night away. Adding charm and fun to the proceedings were stilt walkers and fun prop zones.
With over 1100 CIOs and senior IT executives gaining invaluable insights, the event was a grand success as we look forward to a brand new home for Gartner Symposium next year in Kochi.
