Better Life Farming Alliance was brought to life in the wake of major land deteriorating concerns in Asia and Africa so as to tackle the issue by coming together on a single platform.
India attracted the global giants to launch the alliance, which took place in New Delhi.
Amongst the 80 attendees present was Peter R. Mueller, Head of Bayer Crop Science India and representative partners of the alliance like International Finance Corporation, Netafirm, Yara, DeHaat, Big Basket and smallholder farmers among others who graced the launch with their presence.
We actively planned a skit gimmick to introduce farmers’ problem statement and eventual solution showcase in the form of this alliance. The skit was an aesthetic eye-opener wherein the smallholder farmer’s challenges were highlighted through a rendition of light projection on the actors. The gimmick grew into reflecting on the state of small farming lands, the farmers & their tools right before the actors came together to introduce Pappu Singh, a smallholder green chilli farmer hailing from Varanasi, who candidly shared his experience with the alliance.
The overall set up was a simplistic representation of Bayer’s essence into the field of crop science, and it breathed enough space to allow networking during the event.
The significance of the alliance launch in itself speaks for paramount media coverage during panel discussion and press meet. We assured meeting delivery expectations and our execution was one that was appreciated for standing out.
