AWS Torchbearers Inc.
A game up from the last talk series, Startup Spin, we planned a new show – Torchbearers Inc., a talk series inspired and powered by the overarching theme of the Olympics, designed to inspire the startup community. The campaign drew parallels between Olympic champions and successful entrepreneurs (DNB key customers) by bringing them on one stage together to talk about their journeys, their failures, and the hustle that eventually led them to emerge as champions.
The outcome was a bi-monthly talk series of four episodes with an Olympian guest, an entrepreneur guest, an AWS DNB Business Head, and the host per episode with each episode streaming for 45-60 minutes. Pre-recorded, live-streamed online to the registered audience. The campaign aimed to grow and maintain thought leadership, create brand awareness, reach decision-makers of target accounts of the Digital Native Business Segment, and inspire the next generation of change-makers at large.
From the campaign launch to the finale episode, the word about each episode was spread through extensive digital outreach and engagement plan. With over 500 plus registrations and 200 plus attendees, the series was truly engaging for the audience to have their questions answered in real-time by the Founders and Olympians. It threw light on the inspiring lives of notable founders and the struggle of the champions and how each of them rose to the top in their way.
