The Final Lap of 'Vision 2020'

We organized our annual offsite for all the employees of NeoNiche, Live-o-Live and Greenbox Entertainment at Mahindra Resort in Tungi on 20-22 June 2019. As this was the last financial year in ‘Vision 2020’, the theme required aspects of both motivation and completion. We decided to use ‘The Final Lap’ which perfectly represented the journey till date and the aspirational factors moving forward that fit the requirement perfectly.
The first day was designated for the majority of the sessions. Our CEO and Founder, Prateek N. Kumar kick started the day with a special welcome keynote speech where he discussed the purpose and values that laid the foundation for the company. After the keynote, the Directors of each department had individual sessions to discuss the ‘Year in Review’ and the plan going forward. Along with these sessions, there was a special workshop on building creativity and inculcating an experiential mind-set to drive innovation and design thinking.
Towards the end of the day, all members of the senior management were called on stage for an Open Forum where employees could raise any concerns or queries they had regarding work culture, organizational attributes and any other pertinent issues.
The day concluded with a Neon-themed Gala Dinner and DJ night. After the sessions, employees were asked to use neon paint to participate in a group pledge to achieve all our goals while keeping core values at the centre of our work. With an aura of festivity and several entertaining props, the Gala Dinner proved to be an overwhelming success.
The second day was exclusively planned for organizational team building. With the ICC World Cup underway, everybody was feeling the ‘Cricket Fever’. We set up a League + Knockout style cricket tournament for team building where cross functional teams were created and each team had to discover and play to their strengths directly in game. Each team was given unique jerseys and battled it out on the pitch to win the first NeoNiche Premier League. The full-day tournament truly created unforgettable memories for each and every participant.
After the gruelling tournament, there was an awards function organized to end the second day. Starting off with the tournament winners, the felicitations continued to appreciate top performers from each department and two special awards for NeoKnights who exemplified the capabilities and values expected from true leaders. The night ended with a cocktail dinner where employees could celebrate their achievements and revel in the euphoria for the rest of the night.
