COVID-19 pandemic will change the way we live our daily lives. The lockdown has created a lifetime experience for all of us and it will now impact the way we interact with each other and our surroundings. Designs will play an important role in achieving this transition and defining rules of engagement making them more human and relevant.

The creative minds at NeoNiche, have come up with few simple, open-source designs for public spaces. It’s been amazing to see how people have come together to fight this situation.

The post-lockdown will be a challenging situation for all of us. Our engagement with ourselves, people, objects, and spaces will change drastically. We all have to act responsibly to fight against this global crisis.
It will be a long battle and we will need new systems/ products/ habits and constant mindfulness to sustain this fight.

The above “Stop Coronavirus’ sign is a simple button size sticker.
This sticker could be applied to various public space touchpoints where hand touch is inevitable like a doorknob, bus handle, railing, lift buttons, doorbell, store counters, etc. This little green-and-black dot will be a constant reminder before we touch these daily objects.

It will bring mindfulness and awareness about the care we should take before and after touching these objects.
