Curating visitor experiences to optimise footfall
As one of India’s most trusted brands for wooden flooring, Square Foot featured as a bespoke partner at the Festival of Architecture & Interior Design (FOAID) 2018 at New Delhi. To showcase their 132 exclusive products, they intended to exhibit a unique perspective of a visitor experience.
The challenge at the table was to conceptualise a showroom experience in a smaller space at the venue, which helped NeoNiche explore new aspects of space design. To curate the journey of trust built over the past 20 years by Square Foot, the guests were welcomed in an open structured display with a journey wall illustrating the growth of the company.
While conceptualising a different experience for each of the 4 categories in the structure, we used different light sources that added to the ambience and viewing pleasure. This was further enhanced with the help of an exposed ceiling that allowed bright light to enter the exhibit. For a more personal one-on-one session, a seating area was also strategically placed inside.
As the guests were mesmerised with the exemplary showcase of some of the best products of Square Foot, a wall dedicated to the experience of previous clients provided the finishing touch to it. The exhibit was received with a welcome response and received optimal footfall making it one of the highlights of the festival.
